After receiving an MFA in film and electronic media from American University in Washington, D.C., I moved to Los Angeles to pursue film editing and digital color correction. I have 12 years experience as an editor in Apple Final Cut Studio, and have been coloring with Apple Color for 3 years. I have been working with Avid Media Composer on and off for 9 years and have recently switched over as a feature assistant editor in Avid. I also have 10+ years experience with Adobe Photoshop and other design programs. I am a member of IATSE Local 700.

I have worked almost exclusively with Red Digital Cinema projects for the past 4 years, and occasionally with Arri Alexa. My experience ranges from DIT to assistant and online editing on the technical side, to offline editing and coloring on the creative side. I own my own 12-core MacPro/RedRocket system, equipped with FCP7/Avid MC5.5/Adobe Premiere CS5.5.

As an artist, I have produced work in all forms of visual media, including photography, film, animation, theater, web design, graphic design, pastel, and mixed media. Throughout my career, I have directed art and theater programs, and lectured and taught all ages photography, digital video production, and animation.
